Don't forget I am a professional and I believe I am damn good at what i do! Only my editors can tell me otherwise. I personally made this call to The father of this child and happened to secure the first Live TV interview. Who should be offended over what you say was offensive? You or her folks? Thanks for reminding me what matters at the end of the day is the people that see the good in others. Don't tell me this is not necessary it has given me closure on this issue.” reads Lilian Muli's message
On Thursday, the news Anchor exploded on social media after a section of the public attacked her for a question she posed to top KCPE Candidate Goldalyn Kakuya while on a Live TV interview.
Ms Muli had asked Goldalyn’s mother whether she had ever encountered boyfriend drama with her daughter.
“She is a 14-year-old so have you ever encountered boyfriend drama, typical 14-year-old issues, any from her, has she been a relatively easy child to raise?” Asked Lilian Muli
One social media user, questioned Muli for raising boyfriend issues while interviewing a minor, on national television.
The News Anchor responded with no chills, stating that she will not allow people to insult her and get away with it.
She added that those throwing insults at her should watch the interview on YouTube again, before attacking her.
“I refuse to let people like these insult and get away with it! Why are people so angry though how do you draw a child into such stupid talk! To you Mr Blue suit Watch the interview on Youtube preferably when sober since you are clearly kinda inebriated (google that word lest you think it's the name of a country). I asked her mother about phones and then asked her if she's had any issues raising a teenager such as boyfriend drama.” Reads Part of Lilian Muli’s post
