Emerging reports indicate that three Citizen TV journalists were on board heading to NASA political rally in Baringo.

Confirming the reports, Police Airwing commandant Rodgers Mbithi told a local daily that the six-seater aircraft crashed near the National Housing Coorporation houses.

The number of causalities is not yet known but the victims have been rushed to hospital.

The two pilots who suffered more serious injuries were immediately taken to Nairobi Hospital.

Mr Lemalasia stated that they were able to rescue the victims promptly following the quick help they received from locals.
