IEBC responds to Raila's withdrawal from elections

Just minutes after Raila announced his withdrawal from the repeat elections, IEBC announced that....

IEBC said that following the withdrawal of the NASA presidential candidate, the Commission and the legal team are meeting and will communicate way forward.

Odinga had blamed IEBC for failing to meet its "irreducible minimums" as the main reason for his withdrawal.

"IEBC does not intend to effect changes in operations, staff to ensure irregularities that led to nullification addressed," Odinga stated.

Odinga said that the NASA coalition had come to the conclusion that there is no intention by IEBC to undertake any changes to its operations and personnel.
