Brave cancer soldier whose Hajj wish was granted by Kenyans laid to rest (Photos)
Last year, Abdiaziz Aden a terminally-ill patient from the sprawling Korogocho slums became a Kenyan sensation after he pleaded with his well-wishers to grant him his final wish of attending the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, The Hajj.
Abdiaziz as we came to learn had a few months to live after Oestrogenic Sarcoma; a cancer that starts from the bone ravaged his young body.
Unfortunately a few months after making his trip to Mecca, Abdiaziz known for his upbeat nature passed away on February 18 2017.
His death came after a Twitter user by the name Mûtûra Kuria asked for Kenyan to intercede for the ailing young man as he was in critical condition. “We are praying for Al-Hajji Abdiaziz Aden this night. He is in a very critical condition. Join all of us.” Mûtûra tweeted.
His body was taken to Masjid Noor Mosque in South C for the final payers and his body was laid to rest at the Lang'ata Muslim Cemetery as shown by the photo gallery below:
