The image was posted on social media platforms when the Nairobi Women Rep paid a courtesy call to Matiang’i where they discussed allegations of police brutality against women and children in the aftermath of the August 8 elections.
In the controversial photo, Matiang’i’s eyes were caught up in a motion blur which happens when one blinks when at the moment the photographer is capturing the moment.
Mischievous online commentators shared and commented on the photo with humor, suggesting that the non-nonsense CS had been star struck by Passaris beauty.

"Passaris is so bright for Matiang'i, .. Confirm for your self," @OdmAlert tweeted.
Another user on Facebook, Shem Kagema offered a caption, "When you finally greet your dream /crush".
It is not clear how the photo was released to the public given that professional communicators, as a rule of thumb, usually delete such image files.
