NASA plans to use Mombasa as rigging centre

A local university in Mombasa has been dragged in the rigging controversy

According to Jubilee’s Gatunda South MP, the coastal city will be the nerve centre for ballot stuffing and vote rigging on polling day.

Kuria claimed the Opposition led by NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga employed a similar move during the March 2013 General Elections.

The Jubilee legislator claimed that during the last elections, Mombasa County 'registered the highest number of rigged votes'.

"This is the county where massive rigging was conducted. This time round, we are going to stand guard and protect our votes. No single Jubilee vote will be stolen," Kuria warned.

Accompanied by other Jubilee leaders including gubernatorial aspirant Suleiman Shahbal, Kuria revealed that the 2013 rigging was carried out at a local public university in the area.

Kuria further said NASA was planning to cause violence in areas Jubilee is set to reap more votes in order to create apathy.

The Gatundu MP is leading a section of Jubilee politicians christened “Mbele Iko Sawa Jubilee Caravan” which is traversing the country popularising President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reelection bid.
