Joho asks Raila to return the favour
Joho told Raila that it was time for the NASA leader to return the favour by paying him back.

Speaking during his swearing-in ceremony at the Mama Ngina Grounds in Mombasa, Joho requested the NASA leader to return the favour and stand by him during his quest to ascend to the highest office in the land come 2022.

Joho at the same time promised Odinga, who was the Chief Guest at the event, that he will continue to stand by him all through till the end.
“You (Raila) have stood with us and we assure you we shall stand with you through good times and troubled times,” Joho declared amid a rapturous applause from the Mombasa residents.
Joho showered Raila with glowering tribute and praise terming him as “our father, our leader and the People’s President”.
The governor said that patriotism was not about blindly following, but about seeking to protect the interests of the people as a whole.
“Never misunderstand that we will stop fighting for what is rightfully ours through peaceful, constitutional means,” Joho stated.
The Mombasa Governor announced that after serving Mombasa for the next five years, he will come back to the area and ask them for votes in 2022 but then, it will be for the Presidency.
