Raila makes major announcement on his political future
Days after Uhuru Kenyatta was declared president elect, NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has announced that he will never..
Speaking to a local daily, Odinga stated there was no need of queuing for long hours only for machines to decide the eventual winner.
"I’m not going to be a candidate again. We just want Kenyans to know what happened, what the whole world is not understanding is happening.
"There’s no point in people going to elections in the future, queuing for hours to vote or running around for months campaigning. At the end of the day it’s the computer in the national tallying centre that’s making the decisions," the Opposition leader was quoted by the Star.
The former Prime Minister has refused to concede defeat to Kenyatta claiming that results were manipulated to hand victory to the latter.
Odinga alleged that the late Chris Msando's logins were used to manipulate the results, claims IEBC refused affirming that no one had hacked their servers.
The ODM leader, who has lost in his fourth attempt at the presidency, disclosed that he would announce the way forward for NASA supporters on Tuesday.
On the other hand, the Head of State and his deputy William Ruto have both reached to Odinga and offered a hand of friendship.
Kenyatta urged Odinga to united with him and continue building the country, the latter is yet to respond.
