The judgement was initially expected to come out on Tuesday but the Supreme Court later announced that the it would be released on Thursday at 10am.
It was not immediately clear why the ruling was postponed but Kenyans had highly anticipated the full judgement.
The Judiciary website went down for the better part of Tuesday in what could have been excess traffic as Kenyans sought to find the reasoned judgement on why the August 8 election was cancelled.
There was also sustained street protests near the Supreme Court buildings as Jubilee supporters demonstrated against the 4 judges who allegedly "stole their win".
The demonstrations came at a time when a petition has been filed at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) calling for the removal of judges Isaac Lenaola and Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu.
Mwilu and Lenaola are accused of engaging in unethical and illegal contact with lawyers representing NASA leader Raila Odinga.
