DP Ruto issues new statement after failed IEBC meeting
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was expected to hold a joint meeting with both Jubilee and National Super Alliance leaders.

According to DP Ruto, they were unable to change the timing of a Parliamentary meeting thus the reason why they were late.
“We have agreed with the IEBC that they will reschedule this meeting,” he said
NASA principals led by Raila Odinga, had left minutes before DP Ruto arrived expressing their disappointment in the absence of President Kenyatta and DP Ruto.
"We honored the invitation from the chair of IEBC. We have not seen the presidential candidate from Jubilee or his running mate." Mudavadi told the press.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was expected to hold a joint meeting with both Jubilee and National Super Alliance leaders to resolve issues raised by each political side to pave way for the elections.
NASA had previously demanded the ouster of Mr Ezra Chiloba and other senior officials.
Jubilee on the other hand has maintained that the commission must handle the election in its current form.
